Pet Porte Microchip Cat Flap

As a cat owner, one of my major concerns about fitting a cat flap, is the worry that the neighbourhood toms might invade my home, and leave their scent behind. I also worry that strange cats may enter to steal food from my cats, or attack them. They're common concerns for many cat owners. I've tried a few cat flaps, including the infra red collar-operated ones, but furry cat burglars have always managed to break in.

I recently heard about the Pet Porte Smart flap. It works with your cat's microchip, and will only allow your own cats in, and no-one else's. I think it's a great idea, for both owners and their cats. Owners get peace of mind that only their own pets will be admitted to the home. Cats don't need to wear bulky collars that can get lost, or worse still, caught on something, yet they can still access their homes, and escape the local cat bullies, who will be left outside. The cat flap is also big enough to admit a small dog, an extra plus for cat owners like me, who also keep a dog.

Smartflap

This revolutionary new cat flap has an incredibly strong locking mechanism. Also, there is nowhere a strange cat can hook its claws into, in order to bash or prise the Pet Porte Smart Flap open. You can lock the flap at night, if you wish to keep your cat at home. There is also a beeper, which will alert you when your cat enters the house. The beeper can be disabled, if it displeases you or your cat. Overall, the Pet Porte Microchip Cat Flap sounds like the ideal solution for cats and their owners. It's the perfect way to allow your cat its freedom, without leaving your home open to every other cat in the neighbourhood.
