Baby P's mother named

I'm about to do something potentially illegal. In fact, it probably is illegal. But It's a risk I'm willing to take.

If you live in the UK, or even beyond. you will have heard or read about the vile and despicable murder of a seventeen-month-old boy, known as Baby P, at the hands of his mother and step-father. It's a truly horrendous case. A beautiful, innocent, tiny and defenceless little boy endured months of hellish torture and abuse that eventually killed him.

Baby P

The baby's killers are currently awaiting sentencing. The media cannot name them due to a court order. I cannot name them thanks to the same court order. That makes me sick to the core. Why should these filthy, evil baby-killers hide behind anonymity? They're not juveniles, they're not victims, and the baby's face has been revealed to the media. So why is the gagging order still in force? Hopefully the order will be lifted after sentencing.

Of course, the Internet being what it is, the names of these sick killers are freely available to anyone who digs deep enough. Now, as far as I'm concerned, the court order bans naming them. But does it explicitly ban linking to sites that name them? I'll risk it, as I'm just a blogger with just a few readers. Normally, I abide by the letter of the law, but in this instance, the law's being an ass by protecting the identities of these loathsome murderers.
