It's a well-known fact that we pay more in the UK for many everyday items, such as CDs, electrical goods, video games, books, etc, than our friends in the US do. So, it's very frustrating, when we discover merchandise we want, being sold much cheaper on American websites, but cannot take advantage of these lower prices. Also, a lot of merchandise is only available in the US. One of the biggest problems non-US residents face, is that the majority of US merchants will only send out goods to a US address. So those of us not living in the US, tend to miss out.

Luckily, there is a new mail and packaging service, Access USA, which is available at the website. This will allow you to have merchandise shipped to you from the US, to anywhere in the world. For a small set-up fee, plus a competitive annual or pay-monthly fee, you will be allocated your own US mailing address. It will be a standard street address, not a PO box number. Your US-purchased goods will be delivered to this address, then Access USA will forward it to you, for a fee, whenever you request them to.

Obviously, there are restrictions on the types of goods that may be forwarded, due to health and safety, or law enforcement requirements. For example, weapons, prescription medications, live animals, perishables and combustible materials cannot be shipped.

A great aspect of this service, is that you can share your account with friends and family. So you can all share the cost of the membership fees, etc, making it a very cost-effective way of getting goods shipped to you from the US. Overall,'s Access USA package-forwarding service sounds like a very useful, cost-effective tool for anyone wishing to purchase goods from the US. Why not click the above link and check it out for yourself?

There are other options out there as well. Bongo International is the company I use. Their site is and they provide a similar service.
