Computer Says 'No'.

So, I downloaded the brand new Firefox 3, as part of Firefox's attempt to set a new world record for the most software downloads in a day. I love Firefox, and think Internet Explorer stinks in comparison. But horror of all horrors, dear Godzilla, my prehistoric and cranky monster of a desktop computer, HATES the new Firefox 3. Utterly hates it. Ever since I installed it, Godzilla has thrown tantrum after tantrum, like a toddler on a mission to ruin a family day out.

I need to see if I can reinstall Firefox 2. I'm having to use Internet Exploder, as I once accidentally called it. I cannot tell you how much I jolly well hate Internet Explorer. Almost as much as I hate Godzilla. I don't know what I hate Godzilla most for at the moment - its refusal to behave when I use Firefox, or the frequent appearances of the dread BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). The BSOD, as we all know, is the graphic equivalent of 'computer says no'. Roll on the day I buy my new laptop.

BTW, all you non-Brits, who don't know where I get 'computer says no' from, enjoy this clip from the hit TV comedy, Little Britain. It will explain all :).

I love Firefox and detest IE, so I sympathise.
Regarding "Computer says no" - I can't load the software for my gorgeous mobile phone camera. Tried everything, even a fresh software download. Frequent BSOD, which I don't like! Can't run a web-cam for the same reason.
Now this is hardly your old Godzilla, but a modern machine with impressive statistics. It just does not like camera software. Yet it seems quite happy to process memory cards. Talk about idiosyncratic!
Anyway, I digress. Hope you get Firefox 2 back safely - before IE drives you insane!
