Swansea Vale Railway attacks

I was appalled to read, on the BBC Wales news website, that Swansea Vale Railway has been attacked for the third time in the last two weeks. The first two attacks led to damage estimated at over £40,000. The latest attack, on Tuesday night, has led to thousands of pounds of extra damage. What is wrong with the idiots who keep doing this?

The rail enthusiast volunteers who run the railway are, for the most part, a group of retired gentlemen. I know one of them, Alan, the guy on the left in the picture featured in this BBC News article. No doubt like all his colleagues at the railway, he's enthusiastic, dedicated, and has donated many hours of his personal time to restore and maintain the track and engines. Okay, I know rail enthusiasts are the butt of many jokes, but come on, what harm are they doing? If you know anything about the braindead imbeciles who keep attacking Swansea Vale Railway's stock, please either ring 01792 456999 and talk to the police, or if you'd prefer, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
