Today would have been my dad's 76th birthday. Sadly, he passed away in his sleep, aged just 41, due to an undetected heart condition. I was eight at the time, and can remember how he looked, and his powerful, tenor singing voice. But I can't for the life of me remember how he spoke. Weird, isn't it?
Today is also the 11th anniversary of Princess Diana's death. She wasn't perfect, by all accounts, but I think she was a kind and compassionate woman. Like my dad, she died far too soon.
Anyway, melancholia over. Any of you celebrating a HAPPY anniversary today?

Happy Anniversaries today? Can't think of any (though I never can on a Sunday - awful day). But at least I've got through another day successfully dodging the rocks and avalanches which life throws at you.... Cynical or what ;-(
