Sites and Sounds

All my regular readers know that I'm a big fan of blogs, and generally prefer them to traditional sites. A well written, easy to navigate blog is often a far more valuable resource than a sprawling website. Blogs are also more than just personal diaries these days. One such blog I've recently discovered is called Sites and Sounds, which is a new and interesting music blog. Covering a wide range of genres, from alternative rock to folk rock, indie to country, there's something of value for a wide range of music lovers.

One thing I like about Sites and Sounds, is the fact that the site points its readers towards a number of free music resources, especially free and legal MP3 downloads. For instance, one recent post directs readers to a free download of a new track by Chester Bennington a.k.a Chazy Chaz. You may know him as the vocalist of nu-metal band, Linkin Park.
