ABC Wednesday

I've missed the last couple of weeks, so I'm playing catch up. Today's letter is J, but first I'd like to bring you a couple of images for H and I.

For H, I'd first like to offer you this shot of the village of Horton, on the Gower Peninsula, as seen from Port Eynon beach. This shot shows the area of the village known as Lower Horton. Much of the village lies along a steep hill leading down to the beach.

I is for Island. This next pic shows the island of Worm's Head, off the coast of Rhossili, also on the Gower Peninsula.

Now to this week's letter, J. Here's a jet ski I saw on Port Eynon beach a few months ago.

How about a jellyfish?

I'm glad this jogger had his jogging shoes on, otherwise he would have received a nasty jolt had he stood on the jellyfish!

Anyway, I'm done for this week. I'm looking forward to visiting as many other participants as I can. Happy Wednesday!

I think my pictures are sorted now.

I was once stung by a jellyfish! A dreadful experience!

I love geography, so it was interesting to see these areas as well. The closes I have been is probably Cardiff.

The Js were great, though I'd stay away from both the Jet-scooter AND the jellyfish

Ooooo I can see why it's called "Worm's Head", that island!! VERY dragonny! LOL!

Your last comment reminded me of the time I stepped outside at night with nothing on my feet and ended up with three slugs squished between my toes. It took an age- and a scrubbing brush- to remove them. Bleagh!

I used to spend my holidays in a caravan in Port eynon!

And once, in the sea at Oxwich, we suddenly realised we were surrounded by jellyfish! Urgh!

Welcome back to ABC!

I've only been to the ocean once in my life, so I really enjoyed this post (especially the jellyfish pic - that was neat!) Thanks for making me feel like I was there!bq
