Not so wordless this week. Today's Wordless Wednesday pics show the eleventh century church at Oxwich, on the Gower Peninsula, near Swansea, in Wales. Unusually, the church is situated just above the beach. During summer months, it's concealed by leafy trees. In winter, it reveals itself.
Here's a closer, not so blue, look.
There is a spooky legend associated with the church. A peculiar, mythical creature, with the head and shoulders of a man, and the body of a horse, is said to roam the churchyard on moonlit nights, before making its way down to the beach, and disappearing. I won't be carrying out a midnight ghostwatch at the location any time soon!
