Spam Poison

Ever wished there was a way to fight back against spammers? Well, dear friends - there is! I've discovered a wonderful thing called Spam Poison. I've been seeing a Spam Poison logo on a number of sites, and decided to investigate what it is. Basically, if you link to their site on your blog, any spam robots crawling your site looking for email addresses to harvest (and spam), will be redirected to trap sites. According to Spam Poison, the trap sites

will redirect email harvesting bots to trap sites that will feed it with an almost infinite loop of dynamically generated fake email addresses, mostly on known spammer owned domains! This will render their harvested lists practically useless and of no commercial value.

Yay! Blog power against stinking spammers at last. Use the link above to visit the Spam Poison site and dish out a lovely, toxic dose to the spammers.
