Wordless Wednesday - a dying tradition



John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, once stayed at this old cottage. It's in the coastal village of Oxwich, on the Gower Peninsula, near Swansea, in south-west Wales.

P.S. Apologies to anyone not able to see the pic earlier. As I already had it hosted on Photobucket, I just linked to it there. But Photobucket is pickled today. So I've now uploaded the pic to Blogger.

I wonder if the doors are red in honor of his ministry? (I'm thinking of the red flame of the United Methodist logo.) He was quite the preacher. Great photo!

Nice shot Siani. Is it a listed building? I gather that Methodism is sufering from quite a drop in membership, bigger than other churches.. Happy WW
