Swansea Freecycle

I've recently joined a very useful Yahoo group called Swansea Freecycle. It's part of a worldwide network of local recycling groups. Essentially, members give away usable, unwanted items, to other members. It cuts down on the amount of waste sent to landfill, and also, provides a very useful, free service. So far, I've given away a perfectly good, unwanted rotary clothes airer, and I have someone due to collect an unwanted vacuum cleaner this morning. Although I've not yet received anyhing via this group, you can also pick up a few useful freebies. But note that members who join simply to receive, and not give, aren't very welcome in such groups.
