I'm a hacker

After leaving the PDSA on Thursday, I felt rather wheezy, a not uncommon reaction on my part, to being in a room full of smelly hounds. By yesterday evening, the wheeze had developed into a hacking cough, which is even worse today. I don't feel like I have a cold, though, so I'm worried that my usual slight allergic reaction to dog hair, has turned into a more serious reaction to all animal hair. I hope not, because how, as a cat owner, would I cope with such an allergy? Hopefully, it is just a cold, which has gone to my chest before showing any symptoms of its presence elsewhere.
