I've been tinkering a little with the template again. Any thoughts? I'm going to keep it simple from now on, with no background images distorting the post areas, etc. Also, most free blog templates have their template images hosted with services such as PhotoBucket. If PhotoBucket goes down, or the template designer moves/deletes their images, anyone using their templates will end up with a broken blog. Elements of the template code itself can also be hosted elsewhere - and if the code breaks, well, you have a real mess on your hands, like I did the other day. So from now on, no externally hosted code or images.

Chris - thanks. I've decided to keep the image borders, using a mid grey for them. With the dark charcoal grey background, I'm hoping the effect is quite subtle.
