Aileni asked me about this school, in a comment about the previous post. I realised I had no idea what it was called. Like most other people I know in Swansea, I've always simply referred to it as 'the round school'. I did a little online digging, and discovered that it's now called Sea View community primary school. It used to be called Mayhill primary school.
My research led to a bit of a surprise. I have always assumed that it is a completely circular building. Apparently, it's semi-circular, but is constructed in such a way, that it appears circular when viewed from this particular angle.
I took these shots yesterday, but didn't consider them good enough to include in yesterday's post. I know they're not the best quality, but I thought some local readers might be interested to learn a little bit about this landmark building, which commands a view over the whole city.

Thanks for that,Siani.
I`ve seen that mysterious building on the hill many times since I moved to Swansea eight years ago, but had no idea what it was. Certainly wouldn`t have guessed it was a school. Thanks for enlightening me!
I never knew that was a school! Thank you.
