Evil burglars kill old lady's budgie

I've just read a news article which has utterly disgusted me. Two raiders entered the Cardiff home of a 78-year-old woman, who is in poor health. They threatened to beat her with her own walking stick, unless she gave them £100. She said she didn't have that amount in the house. After threatening her, the pair searched the house, and pocketed £65. Before they left, one of these despicable individuals snapped the neck of this poor lady's beloved pet budgie. She doted on the little bird. How sick must that man be?

I'm a very non-violent person, but I'm angry enough to say I'd like to snap the necks of those two vile b@st@rds. It's bad enough that they smashed their way into someone's home to demand money. But to threaten and rob a frail, elderly woman, and then force her to undergo the trauma of seeing her beloved pet murdered, is utterly sick and twisted. God knows what effect such an experience could have on this poor lady.
