I've just read one of the craziest news stories I've seen in a while, and it has no paranormal overtones whatsoever. Apparently, the Vietnamese government is considering a driving ban for all small-chested people. Vietnam is a nation of very slightly-built people. The average man stands around 5 ft 4 inches tall, the average woman just 5 ft. So, as you can imagine, there must be an awful lot of small-chested people. The Vietnamese themselves are both bemused and aghast at the proposal. What are they supposed to do? Get breast implants? Start pumping iron and guzzling protein drinks? The Guardian carries the full story, if you don't believe me!

Or the Guardian has something wrong again.
Might mean short people need cusions to raise them high enough to see over the wheel... but it lost something in translation.
Total madness! And I thought they were good here at making laws before thinking about them!
