PhotoHunt: Shoes
Almost forgot PhotoHunt again this week. It's getting to be a bad, nasty habit!
So, on to this week's theme - I'm not especially in the habit of photographing my shoes. I don't own any dainty kitten heels, as I have arthritis, and would probably break my neck if I tried to walk in heels. So most of my shoes tend to be very practical - and not especially sexy. However, someone I know absolutely loves my shoes, and has spent many a long hour playing with them. She especially likes my slippers, as they're nice and soft - and easy to fight.
I'm talking about my cat, Liberty. Although she's almost fifteen now, she still loves a good fight with a slipper. And when she's not fighting them, she likes to warm her toes in them.
She eventually destroyed this pair of blue moccasins. Luckily, they were only cheap things, not real leather.
And when she's not warming her toes in them, or fighting my slippers, she likes to take a good sniff. Eeeeeeeeewww! Rather her than me!
Anyhow, that's my PhotoHunt for this week. Have a lovely weekend!

Cute photos and story. Our cat loves socks. She will drag them all over the house.
Thanks for visiting the creek. You mentioned that you'd like to know the story behind the first photo. I just posted a link to it.
Hope you are having a great weekend.

These photos are so cute Siani. I'm glad to see she hasn't lost her playfulness in her old age.
Liberty is so sweet! Lovely photos Siani.

On this Memorial Day remember my friends who died for your freedom.
Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer “am I worth dying for?”~

Aw, cute photos! She sure love the shoes.
I love the picture of your cat warming her toes. My Dad was from your area Tondu and Brigend is where my family are from but I have been in Canada since 1968. I wear flats too much more comfortable.
Nice picture, keep it up!!! Happy Weekend...

Didn't it rain last night?!

Great take on the theme!
Very unique take on the theme and great pictures!! your cat is a cutie!
Cool set of shots, Siani. I have also noticed that the cats tend to love their owners'/slaves' shoes. It is probably the familiar aroma ;-)
Thanks for visiting and have a great week!
I also prefer comfortable and flat shoes. I reserve the heels for special occasions. Great shots of Liberty playing with your slipper and shoes.
hehe!!
My cat loves to tackle the rugs and sleep on the shoes!
