12345 Things

Please scroll down a couple of posts for Friday's Feast.

Serena tagged me for this meme, called 12345 Things. Here we go ...

1. Name one thing you do everyday.

  • Check out the news headlines in my feed reader.

2. Name two things you wish you could learn.

  • I'd like to learn to ride a bike. I was never allowed one as a child - I grew up in a very over-protective environment. The fact that I rode out in front of a car on my tricycle when I was four, didn't exactly help!
  • I wish I could get my head around Javascript. Alas, it drives me scatty, so I rely on ready-made scripts, if I need one.

3. Name three things that remind you of your childhood.

  • Toffee apples.
  • The smell of logs burning on an open fire.
  • Home made steak and kidney pie.

4. Name four things you love to eat but rarely do.

  • Baked salmon steak.
  • Walls Crema di Mascarpone ice cream, from their Carte D'Or range. It's ice cream enriched with creamy mascarpone soft cheese, and topped with red berry sauce and pistachio nuts.
  • Double egg and chips! By 'chips', we Brits mean fries.
  • Brandy liquer chocolates

5. Name five things/people that make you feel good.

  • A nice, long soak in a fragrant bubble bath, especially by candlelight.
  • Chocolate.
  • My lovely, soft, warm, faux fur throw.
  • Watching lambs playing in the springtime.
  • A walk along a windswept beach or cliff top.

Now, who shall I tag?

  1. Shiera
  2. Jenn
  3. Tiffany
  4. Liza

Oh boy, you are Welsh! This probably sounds silly but my family emigrated from Wales to the US and I get so excited to find out anything about Wales. Okay, they emigrated a long time ago. early 1600's. I keep thinking I will run across someone from Cardigan who went to St. Caron's Church. I haven't gotten lucky, I have?

I've no connections with Cardiganshire, I'm afraid. However, here's a link which I believe shows an image of the church you refer to:

hmmmmm... steak and kidney pie. And, how do you do the double eggs and chips? I used to collect British recipes and when the Biography channel would have British Mystery weekeends, we would watch them all afternoon and have British food (well, as British as a gal from south Georgia could make it, anyway) for supper.

Oh how I miss watching my lambs play in the springtime! Gosh, I find myself really considering get some sheep again.

I wish I knew more about creating on the web - HTML, graphics, etc. In fact that was one of my answers for this meme, which I just did today.

Hello Sianni,

Your list sounds nice. You have given some thought to it alright. Did you ever try to learn how to ride a bicycle again? People says that once you've learned it, the skill stays with you for life. I am nervous to ride one now but recently tried those two seater ones - tandem bicycle with my hubby and I managed. :D

Thanks for doing this Sianni.

haha! Thanks for the tag...
but I have to do the 8's meme first ;)

Stay in Japan, and make sure to live very far from the train station so that you will be forced to learn bicycling :D
