Visit Gower Strange Days

Excuse the mess!

I'm redesigning the site, so my apologies if it looks a bit messed up when you visit. Hopefully, a complete new design will be unveiled soon. The current template has coding issues, which is affecting download time and visitor numbers. So rather than spending hours trying to sort them out, I'm using the time for a complete redesign. I think it's time I abandoned my congested and clunky Blogger Classic template for a Blogger layout instead. Hopefully, visitors won't have to wait so long for the page to load, with the new design.

Please note: all links, ads, blogrolls, widgets, meme logos, etc, will be restored gradually throughout the day.

I saw your vampiric blog... it looks wonderful!

O wel mae'n rhaid imi dweud "helo"... ac "wyt ti'n siarad Cymraeg?!?" I can speak a bit because I went to school in Dyfed and we HAD to do Welsh upto GCSE: also it was a predominantly Welsh-speaking area...

Your eyes look amazing.. is that picture unenhanced? Seriously? BC I've never seen a green eye so beautiful. My eyes are "green" but only the colour of a pane of glass stared at longways... with a ring of yellow round the pupil... these together make "green" but nothing like your eyes!

Came across your comment on Liz's blog... I'm at gledwood2.blogspot: if you wanna come by you're most welcome... see you there maybe!

All the best

"Vol 2"...

No, I'm afraid the eye pic is heavily Photoshopped. Alas, in reality, it's a sludgy, grassy shade of green.

Thanks for the comments re: Strange Days. I only started it two days ago, so it's good to know it's getting hits already.

I confess I find the new design somewhat funereal but it also has class. Any chance you could make the flowers red? The contrast would pick up the mood.
Strange days is perfect to look at.
You have certainly worked hard, Sian and deserve the returns. I am just wheel spinning.

Funereal? Eek! Out of curiosity, what makes this design more funereal than the plain black? Alas, I can't do anything about the colour of the flowers. It's a ready-made Blogger layout that I found at Not only is the pic hosted on their server, but I know very little about CSS and even less about XML, so I'd have no idea how to replace the graphic with one of my own. Likewise with the Strange Days template - that's also predesigned. My only contribution to either design is a few ready-written scripts and widgets. There's no way in the world I could ever code either of those sites myself.
