Woman shot in head, makes cuppa

I've just come across a weird and wonderful report about a woman who was shot in the head, and not only survived, but put the kettle on to make herself a cuppa. The 47-year-old woman, Tammy Sexton, was wounded by her husband, who then shot and killed himself.

When a sheriff's deputy attended the incident, he was amazed to be offered a cup of tea by Ms. Sexton, as she held a rag to her head wound. It seems the bullet hit her in the forehead, and passed through her skull, exiting the back of her head. "There's no way she should be alive other than a miracle from God," said Sheriff Mike Byrd, of Jackson County, Mississippi. The patient is expected to make a full recovery, as the bullet somehow passed through the lobes of her brain without causing any major damage.
